From the perspective of the Members, Castle girls come and go. Some are more remarkable than others, but by the very nature of the harshly imposed restrictions, the radical and heartless reduction of them to willing and helpless sex toys, there is generally little depth to them, and consequently they are rather easily forgotten, their shallow depths soon plumbed, their few secrets explored and exploited. But for the girls themselves, the opposite is true — the Castle regime promises, delivers and imposes, moment after moment, without consideration, consent or warning, experience after experience, a technicolor vividness of feeling unmatched by anything in their previous or subsequent lives. Whatever a Castle girl's recollection of her time in its grip, she will never tell you that it was short on moments of extraordinary, electric awareness, compared to which what passes for life outside the Castle walls might as well be in monochrome.
